2. Visiting the Website
Whenever a page is opened, our hosting provider’s server automatically stores technical access data (server log files): IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. We need this data to run the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest). It is not combined with other data and is deleted according to the hosting provider’s retention periods.
3. The Request Form
When you ask for a fixed price through the form, we process the data you enter:
- Your ride: pick-up location, destination, date and time, number of passengers, one way or return with its details, ski bags
- Child seats: number and – if you tell us – the children’s ages, so we bring the right seats
- Flight or train: flight or train number, arrival and departure time, and your notes
- Your contact details: first and last name, country, phone number, email address
Required fields are marked in the form: without pick-up location, destination, date, time, number of passengers, name, country, phone and email we cannot give you a price or reach you. Everything else is optional.
Purpose and legal basis: we use this data to give you a fixed price and to plan and carry out the ride (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract).
What happens with your request:
- The request is sent to us by email.
- Confirmation to you: you receive a copy of your request at the email address you entered, so you can see what you sent.
- IP address and country: together with the request we send ourselves the IP address the form was sent from and the country derived from it. We determine the country on our own server from a database by DB-IP (db-ip.com, licence CC BY 4.0); the IP address is not passed on to anyone for this. We use it to understand requests better and to detect misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Protection against misuse: so that the form cannot be abused for spam, we store a hash of your IP address for at most one hour to limit the number of requests per hour (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Rejected spam attempts are logged only with the time and the reason, without personal data.
- If sending the email fails, the request is kept temporarily in a protected file on our server so that it is not lost. It cannot be accessed from the internet.
4. Contact by Phone, WhatsApp or Email
When you call us, or write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we process your details to answer your request and carry out the ride (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The WhatsApp links on this website open WhatsApp, a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. WhatsApp’s privacy terms only apply once you tap a link and write to us. No WhatsApp code is embedded in this website itself.
5. Google Analytics and Links to Google
Google Analytics (only with your consent): If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). It shows us how our website is used – for example which pages are viewed, how visitors find us and how often the phone number, WhatsApp or the request form is clicked. For this, cookies are set (_ga, _ga_1XZHWG40EQ) and usage data such as pages viewed, device, browser and approximate location is sent to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) TKG 2021). Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time – on our cookie policy page via “Change cookie settings”.
Links to Google: The links to our Google reviews lead to Google (Google Ireland Ltd.). Data is only transferred to Google once you click one of these links; Google’s privacy terms then apply.
6. Recipients and Processors
- Hosting and email: the website and our mailbox are hosted by our provider ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Germany), with whom a data processing agreement is in place.
- Google Analytics (only with consent): Google Ireland Ltd. processes the usage data on our behalf under Google’s data processing terms.
- We do not sell your data or pass it on for advertising. Data is only passed to authorities where we are legally obliged to do so.
7. How Long We Keep Data
- Requests that do not lead to a ride are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed.
- Records of rides carried out are kept for as long as tax and commercial law requires (in Austria, generally seven years).
- The hash of the IP address used for misuse protection is deleted after one hour.
- Google Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
8. Your Rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Simply write to us at info@taxi-stanton.at.
If you believe we are not processing your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde): Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
9. Data Security
The request form and your data are processed securely on the server; the files containing requests cannot be accessed from the internet. Once the website moves to its final address, all traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).
10. Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
